Mango and tamarind relish recipe

This fruity sauce is particularly good with barbecued pork chops or seared tuna

This relish is quite south-east Asian although, if you add a little ground cumin, turmeric and ginger, it easily becomes Indian in accent. I love it with pork chops (especially hot off the barbecue), griddled chicken and seared tuna. You can serve this raw, but I think it helps if the fruit is cooked a little.
